(Esther chapters 6&7)
Imagine what could have happened to Mordecai if Haman had met the king before the King went through the empire’s records and read about how Mordecai saved his life.
Haman had come to see the king to ask for Mordecai to be hanged, but before he could state his mission, the king asked him what’s the best way to honour a man and of course selfishly thinking that he is the man, he made a big proposal. It turned out to be the same Mordecai that he was at the place to plan his death! I can’t get enough of this story (go read it please).
The gist here is that GOD’S TIMING can be trusted because it is always perfect! First, He caused the king to be restless that night, then made him want to read the records of the empire where he found Mordecai’a’s good deeds. God did all of these at that time knowing that Haman was on his way to execute his wickedness.
Listen, loving and honouring God is all you need to do, leave the rest of your worries to Him. He sees them and will make the perfect plan to honour you and put your enemies to shame.
What the wicked plot against the righteous will be used against them.
