I wrote this poem for my Father, our Father…God Almighty, the LORD!

It was written on one of those intimate moments I always have with God, and it was supposed to remain in my phone notepad forever. But, recently I was led to share it here. Why?
It could inspire you to seek a deeper relationship with God if you don’t have one already, or it could encourage you to keep holding on to what you have with Him. It could also expose you to the kind of Father we have, and some of His attributes that you may not know about.
Ultimately, I hope that you enjoy reading the poem, not just as an ordinary poem, but as a spiritual one, and that it impacts your life and relationship with God positively.
A Song for the Mighty One
I didn’t make me; you did
I didn’t set my feet here; you did
How I got here, I know not; you know
My breath is not mine; it’s yours
My soul is not mine; it’s yours
I don’t own myself; you do
You own me
You moulded me
You sent me
Your will is mine
I want to please you
I want to serve you
I want to be with you
Use me
Use me
Use me as you wish
To bring glory to yourself
To draw souls to yourself
To make life better for others
My greatest desire is to love you
To serve you
To do your will
To worship you
You are all that matters
Nothing else does
In you, there is life
In you, there is peace
In you, there is fulfilment
In you, there is hope
For the things we have and for those we hope for, you provided and will provide
A loving father
A caring father
A compassionate father
I love you with all that you have given me
Please take me
Use me
For I am all yours.
